Tickled Pink by Code Pink

Gang.

You KNOW I went to Berkeley so you KNOW I have experience with and respect for peaceful protestors and protests. That said, you know I have a sense of humor too, so today, when President Obama's top economic dog Larry Summers was speaking before the august Economic Club in Washington D.C. and anti-TARP protestors calling themselves "Code Pink" crashed his stage, we here at Fox Business felt we couldn't miss an opportunity to show Mr. Summers and everyone else how to keep the event moving.

In case blue is your color and you haven't heard of the Pinks, Code Pink is a group of activists who parade around with posters that say in Pepto Bismol pink letters: "We want our $$$ back!"  They're angry about TARP/taxpayer money going to Wall Street fat cats.  We get it. We're annoyed too, but....

Methinks there's a problem with the protestors.

You see, every time the Code Pink folks crash an event, they're actually relatively polite. By my standards, they don't say much, and when they do, like earlier this week when they crashed an event Goldman Sachs' Lloyd Blankfein was at,  it's done 'sotto voce,' as if they're standing at the 18th hole at Augusta right before Tiger putts to save his game.

By the same token, those being Code Pinked are also extremely low-key and polite.  So I and my team at Countdown to the Closing Bell thought we might show everyone how to add a little 'magenta' to the pale pink of Code Pink.
