    Canary in a Columbus Coalmine

Folks, I'm a greenie since Day 1.  Growing up in California, my dad used to put water-displacing (read: water conserving) bricks in the toilet tanks in our house, all the while warning, "Kids, we have to do this. One day there won't always be clean water or enough electricity."

So when I met Michael Morris, Chairman and CEO of American Electric Power back in March at the Wall Street Journal ECO:nomics green conference, I figured he would come out swinging against ANY regulation of the industry.

American Electric Power (AEP) is the nation's largest coal burner. The gigantic, Columbus-based utility is a behemoth in the industry and therefore, is at the forefront of corporate interest in government policy regarding EPA clean-air regulation and legislation.

On Earth Day I thought, let's bring him in.  Michael Morris spoke exclusively to Fox Business on Earth Day about how he views the Obama Administration efforts to clean up our environment and to regulate businesses that pollute.

And I learned something I didn't know about Mr. Morris. Watch the clip and you will too.
